Some more info (and a picture of the cars they’re driving!) on Tom’s Siberian adventure. As you can see from the cars, the show is called Driven to Extremes. And the Finnish F1 driver is Mika Salo.

“A veteran of 110 Grand Prix competitions and MTV3’s current F1 commentator Mika Salo is taking hold of the biggest challenge of his life next week. Salo is leaving for the Discovery channel’s “World’s coldest road” adventure in Siberia.
They are setting off from Yakutsk. For seven days Salo is driving with the bad guy of the new Batman film, Tom Hardy. Temperature will be -60C. The car is UN special model of Nissan Patrol, and the motor will not be switched off for the whole trip due to the risk of freezing up. “I’m sure it’ll be unbelievable experience. My first question, when they asked me to join, was what we’ll do if anything happens. Hence there is professional help always with us,” Salo said.”
