“This Means War” will give fans something different. What is this?
It is a comedy full of action, with director McG using the diversity. There’s nothing more interesting than twists. It is a comedy classic, but also more action-packed. Fast cars, helicopters, a taut script and a great soundtrack. All have contributed to the success of this film.
So far you guys played tough roles. How was it to portray a character funny?
To be honest, was quite different, there are several rules you must follow when interpreting such a character. Acting is of two kinds: representative or presentation. A character such as Daniel Day-Lewis in “Gangs Of New York” is a complex presentation. Then, the interpretation of the representative, a person when you are in an environment or a situation. And comedy is acting representative. In this film represents a person who happens to be a spy who falls for a girl.
The characters played by you and Chris Pine, fighting for the same girl, Reese. Which character do you think fits better? Tuck or FDR?
I’m attracted to a kind of character rather than Tuck. A real man is hard to find. Virtues that make man, everything from patience to courage, are features that are often rewarded in kind. My job is going to bring me in the spotlight, where I prefer to interpret this kind of character.
The audience was delighted with the relationship between you and Chris, as he liked to watch and your fight for Reese.
You can not tell from the start how you’ll understand someone. If someone likes you, you can do anything. As you work with professionals like Chris and Reese it is easy to make friendships. In this industry you have to get along well with your colleagues, and if this is not possible, to give the impression that you do on screen. Chris Pine is a good guy. He’s the kind of person you have fun with.
Meetings of the night are essential when you want to conquer someone. “This Means War” can trigger romance among people?
I believe it has something appealing for everyone. There is action, the beautiful Reese Witherspoon and the handsome Chris Pine. The film is high quality and the comedy is funny.
