Bain or Bane?
You know you’ve made it when you’re mentioned in an interview with an American presidential candidate and his vice-president candidate on 60 minutes:
Obtuseness dripping with obvious contempt for the interviewer, the interview, and the audience turns out to be pretty effective at moving the conversation along. Romney should do it more! When asked about Bain, for example: “Ha ha, well I thought Tom Hardy was excellent. Very scary! Ha ha. Human beings, right? Good question. Next.”
(It’s not in the video on the page, though. Was there a longer version of the interview? Not that I really want to see that much more of those two. I may not be American, but I do prefer it if the current president to remain in power… But yay for Tom being scary! *g*)
