“I didn’t want to act. It just came to the point that I had to do it or else I would starve. I have always been a liar, which helps,” he jokes. “I think what happened is that I had people who told me to go to drama school, but in my head it wasn’t a reality. It was a way of prolonging living off my parents. It wasn’t until I went to the drama center that I got to know myself and the things I hated. I came to terms with it. There was light and dark. It then happened it became a reality, a job, a responsibility. What is important is how do you survive. There is no specific formula.”
